Science Seekers Camp – You’re So Sensitive

Some, like the Mayfly larvae, are super sensitive and won't survive in poor quality water. Together we will collect water bugs, learn how to identify sensitive species and use them as a sign of the water quality in Lake Miltona. Download the camp registration form.

Their dramatic metamorphosis shifts their shape - gills to lungs - and allows them to breath in water as young and on land as adults. Rushfort artist wins Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Contest
The 2020 Minnesota Migratory Waterfowl Stamp will feature a painting of a pair of snow geese by Rushford artist Michael Sieve, who won the annual waterfowl stamp contest sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources.
