Water bugs are amazing creatures. Some, like the Mayfly larvae, are super sensitive and won't survive in poor quality water. Frogs, toads and salamanders bridge the gap between land and water creatures. Their dramatic metamorphosis shifts their shape - gills to lungs - and allows them to breath in water as young and on land as adults. The 2020 Minnesota Migratory Waterfowl Stamp will feature a painting of a pair of snow geese by Rushford artist Michael Sieve, who won the annual waterfowl stamp contest sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources.
